The Doctrinal Foundations of GBC: The Ministry of the Holy Spirit to the World
Preached by Pastor Matt Northcutt on March 8, 2026
One of the main ways that the Holy Spirit ministers and works in the world today is to bring conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Conviction is defined as the work of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God to convince the sinner of the reality of his sin and his inescapable guilt before God. In this message, we examine each of the three areas in which the Holy Spirit brings conviction and why it is important to us today.
